Common questions about our inspectors

If there’s anything you’re unsure about, ask. We want you to feel completely comfortable with the person evaluating your future home.

Can I choose which inspector I work with?

Yes. You can either request a specific inspector by name or let us match you based on the property type, location, and schedule. If your preferred inspector isn’t available in your timeframe, we’ll share a clear alternative and their qualifications so you can decide.

Are your inspectors licensed and insured?

Every SafeHaven inspector holds an active state home inspection license, carries Errors & Omissions and general liability insurance, and maintains certifications with leading organizations such as InterNACHI and ASHI. We’re happy to share license numbers and documentation upon request.

Can I talk to my inspector before booking?

Absolutely. Many clients choose to have a quick 10–15 minute call first. It’s a great chance to confirm fit, discuss any known issues with the home, and understand what to expect on inspection day.

Will my inspector be okay with me following along?

Yes—and we encourage it. Our inspectors are trained to explain what they’re seeing in plain language as they go. We just ask that you follow their safety guidance in tight spaces like attics or around electrical panels.
